TENS Troubleshooting

We are sorry you're having trouble with your TENS machine. Below are a few of the common issues our customers face with their TENS machine

ISSUE: No sensation from the pads when they are plugged in
SOLUTION: Often only one electrode pad with one lead wire is trialled. We recommend using both pads while trialling the machine, so the electrical circuit works correctly

ISSUE: Sensation from the electrode pads is not as strong after you have used the ELLE TENS for a while
SOLUTION: Try increasing the strength of the TENS machine, as you may have become acclimatised to the sensations if you have been using it for a while

ISSUE: TENS machine will not turn on
SOLUTION: Are the batteries correctly inserted? Consider trying new batteries. Ensure there is no water in the battery compartment

ISSUE: You can feel electrical / nerve sensations when using the TENS machine
SOLUTION: Try repositioning the electrode pads - they may have moved or they may be slightly over a bone which is providing an uncomfortable sensation
